Kalapatthar, the vantage point lies in the Everest Region elevating at 5,550m above sea level. One of the highest viewpoint-Kalapatthar offers panoramic views of the Himalayas including Mt. Everest.
Not only this it offers a breathtaking view of the sunrise and sunset over the giant mountain peaks. There are two options to reach Kalapatthar- one by trekking from Lukla and the next by using a Helicopter from Kathmandu.
As we reach Everest Base Camp, we cannot observe Mt. Everest and its neighboring. You need to ascend Kala Patthar to get stunning views of Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, Lhotse, Amadablam, and Changtse.

The next viewpoint for Everest is Gokyo Ri (Gokyo Peak). Remaining slightly farther in comparison to Kala Patthar, it offers more views including Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Lhotse. Gokyo Ri offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the Gokyo valley keeping four-eight thousand-meter summits in the circumstantial. As you look down, you will see the longest glacier- the Ngozumpa glacier which is breathtaking.
