One of the short hikes near Pokhara, having the picturesque views of the Himalayas, Valleys, landscapes, is hiking to Australian Camp. An easy hike from Kande leads the hikers to a fantastic nature passing the rural villages with stunning views.
All the hikers, from beginners to advanced, children to seniors, solo to a large group, can join this trip. Regardless of any particular season, this is an ideal destination year-round. The journey commences from Kande, a village that can be reached after a 1.5-hour drive from Pokhara. Passing the lustrous forests, greeneries, cultivated lands, and terraced fields, hikers reach Australian Camp after approximately 2 hours of hiking.
Remaining only 38km away from Pokhara, Australian Camp offers Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri ranges panoramic views, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain), Manaslu, and heavenly site-Pokhara, lustrous greeneries, and many more. Our journey begins early to catch the picturesque Sunrise view from Sarangkot. Sitting in the backdrop of the Himalayas, we get our breakfast. Continuing the trip, we reach Kande and begin our journey.
Passing the gorgeous villages, stunning landscapes, and rich rhododendron forests, we reach our destination-Australian Camp, spending 1.5 to 2 hours. The arrival time may vary according to your walking pace and fitness.
Reaching there, we have some time to capture the close-up views of the Himalayan ranges. Then, we get our lunch keeping the Machhapuchre, Manaslu, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri Ranges behind. In the afternoon, we hike back to Kande and drive to Pokhara.
