• Tengboche Monastery

Next is the revered Buddhist gompa of Tengboche Monastery which is located at the elevation of 3,867 meters and is also the largest monastery in the entire Khumbu region. Being established in 1916, Tengboche Monastery can be reached easily from Namche bazaar so it can be a worthwhile venture to visit and explore the magnificent monastery during your visit to the Everest region. • Kala Patthar

A popular landmark located near to the Mt. Everest is the stunning Kala Patthar which is just above a place called Gorakshep. Trekkers usually tend to hike up the Kala Patthar early in the morning to get a breathtaking panoramic view of the Himalayas as the morning sunlight slowly touches down these massif snowcapped statures.
